The husband and wife team of Peg and Bob (PB) Hogan founded PB Method of Hair Design in 1960. After working together for over 25 years, their small nail and cosmetology school flourished. Today, the school, now PB Cosmetology Education Centre, remains a family business under the direction of Peg and Bob’s granddaughter, Colleen Hogan.

Robert L. Hogan
President of PB Beauty School
Colleen is the Director of PB Cosmetology Education Centre. Her grandparents, Peg and Bob Hogan, founded the school in 1960. Colleen is currently the third generation to share a passion for the industry. She has a bachelor’s degree from Cabrini University in Radnor, Pennsylvania as well as both Cosmetology and Teaching licenses. She has been working in the beauty industry for over 30 years and loves following the success stories of PB graduates.
Assistant School Director
Monica Heslin is the Assistant School Director at PB Cosmetology Education Centre. She is a 1999 graduate of the Cosmetology Program and a 2003 graduate from the Teacher Training Program. Monica has taught both junior and senior Cosmetology students and she previously held an administrative position as the Student Services Director from 2005-2009. She is a former salon owner who returned to PB in 2015 to work in the Financial Aid Department. Monica was promoted to Director of Financial Aid in 2018 before becoming Assistant School Director in 2019. She has a true passion for the industry and loves helping students find ways to make their dream of pursuing a beauty education become reality.
Tracey Mitchell is the Controller at PB Cosmetology Education Centre and came to us with over 20 years of accounting and bookkeeping experience. Working here at PB Cosmetology Education Centre is Tracey’s first time working in the beauty industry. She loves the friendly outgoing atmosphere here and is happy to keep up with the latest beauty trends with the help of her co-workers. On her own time, Tracey enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cooking, and gardening.
Jessica Rea is the Admissions Representative for the students of PB Cosmetology Education Centre. In 2006, Jessica graduated from cosmetology school and worked as a stylist for five years before taking her love for the beauty industry in another direction. Realizing that her true passion was helping others, she began a career as an Admissions Representative to help potential students fulfill their dream with a career in beauty. Her favorite part of the process is getting to know each student to help them reach their goals. Jessica lives in Philadelphia with her boyfriend and dog and enjoys traveling and spending free time with family.
Financial Aid Advisor
Michelle is a Financial Aid Advisor at PB Cosmetology Education Centre. She has a strong passion for assisting students in every step of their journey to make their dreams come true affordably! In 2016, she obtained a Fundamentals of Federal Student Aid Administration Certificate. Michelle is also a licensed Cosmetologist and continues to enjoy cutting hair in her spare time, so she is thrilled to assist students on their journey to finding success in the beauty industry!
Karlee is a graduate of PB Cosmetology Education Centre’s Cosmetology and Teacher’s Training Program. She has been a licensed hair stylist for 20 years. She teaches advanced techniques to senior cosmetology students. Currently she lives in Cherry Hill with her husband and two children.
Nicole has been in this industry for over 28 years and graduated from PB Cosmetology Education Centre’s Teacher Training Program in 1994. She enjoys applying her experience, education, and love of this profession to others. Nicole is skilled in all areas of Cosmetology. She effectively communicates to deliver lessons to students as they learn new skills and trends. Nicole feels the cosmetology industry is “compelling”!
Gino has been working in the Cosmetology industry for over 50 years. He is the owner of Gino’s Hairstyling in Wesmont, NJ and serves as a NJ State Board of Cosmetology examiner. Gino also holds a position on the Advisory Board of the NJ State Board of Cosmetology. A true “Renaissance Man”, he loves to read, garden, go to the theater and try new restaurants.
Denise has a degree in Fine Arts and is a Master Colorist. She enjoys teaching students to formulate hair color. She has been a stylist/colorist for 30 years. In her spare time, she enjoys exercising and volunteering for various charities.
MiMi has been in the cosmetology industry for over 30 years . She is well rounded in all areas of the beauty field from hair & esthetics to microblading. MiMi has chosen this career for the simple love of not only making people look their best but feel their best as well.
Student Salon Coordinator
Sophia Mitchell is a Student Salon Coordinator at PB Cosmetology Education Centre. She recently graduated from Haddon Heights High School and is currently studying Criminal Justice at Camden County College. In her free time, Sophia enjoys going to the beach and playing with her dog.

Jennifer Gallo is a Student Salon Coordinator at PB Cosmetology Education Centre. She is a 2019 graduate of PB's Cosmetology Program and is working towards her license. She is a makeup enthusiast and avid over of all things beauty. In her free time, she enjoys reading, shopping and spending time with her cats.
